Richard M. Clairmont

I graduated from Villanova in 1989 with my accounting degree and started working with clients on tax planning and financial advisory work. Early on, I developed a focus on estate planning and trust work, which has remained a significant part of my practice. There's something about helping people think through what happens next, how they protect their families, and how they pass on what they've built that resonates with me.

In my role here, I work with individuals on comprehensive financial planning, help business owners think through their company and personal finances together, and spend a lot of time with retirees and pre-retirees on wealth management. The connection to the accounting side of the firm gives me a fuller view of clients' situations, which helps when we're making planning decisions.

Outside of work, I am involved in Rotary Club and with the Villanova Rugby Football Club. I serve on the board of directors for the Villanova Rugby Football Alumni Association, the Upper Merion Lacrosse Club, the Upper Merion High School Lacrosse Boosters Club and am an active member in the King of Prussia Rotary Club. Those roles keep me connected to the sports that have been part of my life for years and let me give back to the local community.
