Founding Shareholder and Advisor

I started my career at Price Waterhouse in their audit department right out of Villanova, where I graduated in 1980 with my accounting degree. I spent several years working with manufacturing, healthcare, service, and marketing clients, learning how different types of businesses operate and what keeps their owners up at night. In 1984, I joined this firm, and that's when I really started focusing on the advisory side of the work.

What became clear early on was that business owners needed more than just tax preparation. They needed someone who understood both their business and their personal financial picture, and how those two worlds intersect. I earned my CFP designation in 1992, got my PFS credential from the AICPA, and over the years built a practice around comprehensive planning for individuals and closely held business owners. The business owner side of things has always been particularly interesting to me because the decisions they make about their company directly impact their personal financial lives, and vice versa.

I've stayed involved in the community through various boards and organizations over the years. I served on the audit committee of the Phoenixville Community Health Foundation. I've also been on the boards of the Villanova Alumni Club of Philadelphia, the Phoenixville Chamber of Commerce, Spring-Ford Country Club, and the Schuylkill Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross, among others.
