I've always been drawn to numbers, but I got into this profession for the people. When I graduated from Millersville University in 2008 with my accounting degree, I joined the accounting firm, knowing it had an investment management side. That combination appealed to me right away. I spent my first eight years focused on tax returns and financial statements, but I kept gravitating toward the advisory work. Eventually, I started working alongside Rich Capasso and the other advisors in the firm, learning the investment side from the ground up. I earned my CFP designation in 2014, got my securities licenses, and in 2018, I became a partner here at the firm.

What I didn't expect when I started this career was how much clients would share with me. People open up about things they don't discuss with anyone else, and that level of trust brings you close to them in a way that goes beyond the numbers. Every client has their own story, their own path that brought them to where they are. I've always been curious about how people ended up in their particular line of work, especially the professions you wouldn't immediately think about. Those conversations remind me why I do this.

I grew up in Limerick, and I live in Royersford. My parents gave me a strong work ethic. My dad owns a construction business, and watching him run it taught me what it takes to build something and keep it going. I have three sisters and more nieces and nephews than I can keep up with sometimes. Seeing my dad and other small business owners work through challenges is a big part of why I wanted to be in a position to help people with those same struggles.

Outside of work, I spend time with family, play golf when I can, catch a movie, or head to a sporting event. I also serve on the board for the Montco Foundation, which gives me a chance to stay connected to the community in a different way.
